Service Support Officer (Local Authority)

Our Local Authority Client in East London is currently recruiting for Service Support Officers in various departments. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience of working within a Local Authority or Similar,(Charities).

These roles are temporary ongoing and available to start within 1 weeks notice or sooner. A notice period of more than 1 week cannot be considered.

Duties:

To be responsible for complaints, issuing, assigning, monitoring and control relating to leasehold management. Act as gatekeeper for complaints system within Service Area and advise managers as appropriate and manage the administration of leasehold dispute resolution.

To undertake scheduling and organising of staff and customer functions, clearly organising necessary tools and equipment as may be required

To organise and co-ordinate events and conferences, assist and promote service(s) whilst ensuring that the diverse needs of our customers are met and that satisfaction can be assessed and improvements implemented.

To be a key point of contact for the service area dealing with customer (some of which may be complex and/or contentious) either in person or by telephone.

To be responsible for the diary management of the Head of Service, including scheduling and organising events and meetings for Head of Service ensuring all relevant papers are brought forward for meetings highlighting areas of concern and assist with general duties.

To undertake the compilation of bench-marking information across London and within other Services to ensure that services and performances are regularly compared and measured for high performance.
