The last couple of years has seen Linaker grow exponentially and 2023 is no exception. Our client base continues to grow month on month and as a result we are now looking for an experienced Business Director to join us on our upward journey. This is a rare opportunity to become a key part of how we service our clients and help to shape our approach to account development moving forward.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide leadership and management so that contractual commitments to clients are met and exceeded
- Ensure that opportunities for strategic development of contracts are exploited, thus increasing turnover and profitability
- Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, and that contracts are staffed by fully competent teams
- Work with the other Business Directors to ensure the collaborative development of the business
- The management of £10m+ portfolio of contracts
- Promoting and maintaining the core values of the business
- Support the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings
- Provide a learning environment and appropriate training and development planning
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Hold and Engineering qualification, preferrable HND or above
- Must be able to demonstrate a career showing continuous personal development
- Managerial experience at Account Manager or above within technical or hard services is essential
- Delivery of wider Total Facilities Management services
- The development and review of teams, appraisal and the application of effective people management practice
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Visionary approach to work with the ability to clearly communicate ideas to colleagues & clients
- Energetic, self starter with exceptional motivational skills
This is a remote position, although would suit someone based in the north of England (not essential) due to the location of some of our key accounts linked to this position. Salary band 8 plus bonus, 28 days holiday with company car and family cover & death in service cover.
