Global Retail Events Planner – Automotive industry, based in Coventry

Ongoing temp role for 26 weeks

This role will focus on developing and delivering a robust strategy for the company’s branded goods presence across multiple customer channels including Motor Shows, Events, Out of Home and Retailer Environment. This will be supported by assisting in the development and ongoing maintenance of clear global guidelines and visual merchandising standards for retailing and displaying products to a `best in industry’ standard. This role will ensure a consistent level of retailing presentation, standards and guidance for selling lifestyle collections designed by the company through direct to consumer channels.

You will need to have excellent event planning and delivery experience, together with good project management skills and be a confident communicator.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate & maximise sales growth opportunities for branded goods when retailing at events and via the global retail network -The planning and delivery of the Branded Goods Event Strategy across Global Motor Shows, Events & Out of Home -Liaising with Global Auto Shows Team, Market Champions, Special Operations Events Manager and external agencies to manage Branded Goods presences at key events
Efficient and cost effective delivery of the sales operation process at events, including line-list planning, managing the ordering and delivery of stock, confirming pricing with Pricing Team, Event staffing and development of training packs.
Ensuring that the latest and most suitable collections and products are represented at each event
Providing stock forecasts for upcoming ranges based on sales analysis
On-going maintenance of Global Retailer Guidelines and Standards to support and educate Retailers on the sales of BrandedExperience Required:

Degree qualified or equivalent
Strong business and commercial acumen

Strategic thinkingExperience Preferred: An understanding of retail is advantageous as is a keen passion for selling lifestyle products and collections.

Additional Information: Due to the nature of this role, some out of hours and weekend work will be required. As this is a global function, there will be the need to travel when necessary to support events and retail selling opportunities as required.
