A well-established and very successful training organisation, are looking for an experienced Assessor to start their learners on their apprenticeship journey.
You will:
• Travel throughout East Sussex inducting learners and ensuring they fully understand their commitments and the delivery processes of their programme
• Ensure learners have a start/induction date set and are eligible for provision as per funding agency rules
• Work closely with colleagues and respond appropriately to referrals within required timescales
• Provide constructive feedback to learners and employers as required
• Identify and uphold all relevant quality standards and actively participate in the organisations quality assurance process
• To ensure that all award documentation complies with the standards and criteria of the relevant awarding bodies
• Ensure that their handover to allocated Assessors/Tutors is timely and seamless
You will need:
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• L2 or equivalent in Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT.
• D32/33/A1 or equivalent training/assessment related qualification.
• Knowledge of Qualification Credit Framework, SFA and Common Inspection Framework.
• Competent in use of Microsoft Office, or equivalent.
• Demonstrate commitment to continued learning and personal development.
• Knowledge of appropriate quality and compliance frameworks and Government Funding streams e.g. Matrix, DWP/Job Centre Plus, RDA, and ESF.
