Architectural Technologist

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

We are an award-winning, customer focused social housing provider that manages over 20,000 homes on behalf of Doncaster Council. 

Reporting to the Commercial Manager the postholder will work as part of a professional, multi-disciplinary team that delivers of multi-million pound construction, refurbishment and maintenance works that is undertaken by either internal teams or external contractors.

The primary function will be to provide architectural and technical design support generally in accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work.

In addition the post offers the opportunity to be at the heart of the commercial management process of these contracts that play a key and important part of improving the borough of Doncaster and its neighbourhoods.

Candidate Requirements:

The post requires a dedicated professional who has a minimum of a Level 6 qualification in architectural technology or an equal RIBA recognised qualification. 

As a hardworking individual with a passion for professionalism and the ability to remain calm and clear-thinking when under pressure, the post holder will require excellent organisational skills including the ability to plan and prioritise workload in order to meet targets, timescales and deadlines in a sometimes pressured environment.

The successful applicant for the role must be focused, IT literate, flexible, possess excellent technical knowledge and have the ability to appreciate the bigger picture.
