SEND Administrator

Salary: £30,755 – £32,296 per year

Due to the growth of the Learning Development Department within this large secondary school in Hayes,Middlesex we are seeking an efficient SEND Administrator.

The SEND Administrator will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to the SEND department. Duties will include maintaining the SEND diary, scheduling review meetings and taking minutes, ensuring paperwork for SEND meetings (PEP, EHCP and professionals) is sent to all parties by deadlines and pupils’ folders are kept up to date.

Working with the SENCo, the Administrator will collate, analyse and interpret assessment data, including auditing data for accuracy. Referral forms for outside agencies will be completed, working to strict deadlines as set in terms of annual reviews and Educational Health Care Plans.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with secondary aged young people in a learning environment and in a supervisory capacity. Possessing a good standard of numeracy and literacy skills, you will have effective knowledge of ICT packages and equipment to support learning.

A confidential and discreet manner is required at all times, ensuring that information is managed in accordance with data protection and safeguarding requirements. You will have the ability to build and form good relationships with students and colleagues and be able to relate well to and motivate young people. Working with initiative you will be able to prioritise work, being flexible and able to respond to unplanned situations.

This is a term time only role (39 weeks of the year) on-site and full time, 36 hours per week. No hybrid option available.
