A small specialist school in Bracknell are looking for a Social, Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support the social, emotional wellbeing and mental health of students. The school provide alternative education for students who have emotional and mental health difficulties including anxiety and trauma including some additional special educational needs such as dyslexia and Autism. The Social, Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working with students aged 4-16 in a range of settings assisting the main class teacher with students on a 1:1 basis and the broader classroom.

The Social, Emotional and Mental Health Support Worker in Bracknell ideally would have a degree in a related field or have experience working with young people. Many children will have experienced difficulties in their lives so someone with resilience and an open-mind to support mental health challenges is required.
