Salary: £28,800 – £36,000 per year
I am looking to recruit an experienced LEEA Lifting Technician for my client within the Bristol Area. The role will involve carrying out Maintenance, Service and Certification of the lifting equipment across the companies fleet.
Role will involve but will not be limited to:
- Preperation, checking, inspecting, recording and testing the Lifting equipment to LEEA standard, LOLER and PUWER legislation ready to supply to clients.
- Carry out fault finding procedures, and repairing any defentcs found to a safe working condition
- Prioritising work to meet company requirements
- producting reports to present and discuss findings to the company
- Issue of test certifications to equipment on completion of successful testing
- Monitoring the fleet stock levels and adivising on any shortfalls in kit
- inspecting, repaiging and maintaining a varied range of fleet / hire equipment including chain blocks, genie lifts, and vacuum handling machines
Experience working as a lifting engineer within a busy environment previously is essential, along with a sound knowledge of inspecting lifiting equipment in accordance with LOLER & PUWER standards.
LEEA Qualification is essential.
This role is a 40 hour per week permanent opportunity Monday – Friday.
The salary on offer is between £28,800 – £36,000depending upon experience
