Salary: £24.78 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a number of CNC Turner (Fixed and Sliding) and CNC Miller positions for a Precision Engineering business supplying into the Aerospace & Defence, Oil & Gas and Rail industries. Due to increase of orders across their biggest customers as well as bringing on some new customer, they have a need for additional CNC Turners (Fixed and Sliding) and CNC Millers.
What does it involve?
The company is looking for an experienced CNC Turners and Millers who has experience working within a fast-paced Sub-Contract Machine Shop to machine parts within tolerance and in a timely manner. All machines are Fanuc or Mazatrol controlled.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
- Skilled CNC Machinist – Programming/Setter/Operator or Semi-Skilled.
- Experience with either Sliding Heads, Fixed Heads or Milling machines.
- Creating and editing programs – Fanuc or Mazatrol.
- Reading of technical drawings.
- Previous experience in a machine shop environment.
- Use of handheld tools – Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges etc…
