Salary: £120,000 per year
Badenoch & Clark are currently working with a very successful organisation who are looking to recruit a CFO. The role will play a pivotal part in realising the growth of the organisation and have a significant input in the strategy to achieve this. Key areas of responsibility will include:
*Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results; recommending corrective actions; minimising the impact of variances.
*Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
*Report financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analysing variances; developing improvements.
*Develop, implement and continual review of Group compliance policies in line with regulatory requirements.
*Implement and optimise the use of the financial part of the ERP system
*Global implementation of IFRS
*Management of all accounts: cash, bank and loan agreements by implementing cash pooling facility
*Monitor and supervise existing and potential government grants
*Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with all internal and regulatory legislation for financial and tax reporting.
*Audit and tax affairs management. Optimise Group worldwide tax payment
*VAT and all other statutory returns within regulatory timescale
*Preparation and filing of statutory year end accounts
*End of year accounting and reconciliation
*Implementing financial plans and forecasting through budgets and business plans
*To effectively manage credit control to ensure timely receipt of funds and to minimise bad debts
*Preparation of timely financial information
*Prepare business management data for the Executive Team
*Plan and secure timely dividend payments to the shareholders
*Support mergers and acquisitions including due diligence
*Treasury review currency exposures and ensure that material risks are mitigated
*Group wide P&L and Balance sheet management
*Propose and manage International Financial transactions between Group companies
*Ensure appropriate corporate governance is in place
*Transfer Pricing and group charges Management
*Manage, lead and develop team members within Group Finance and Group IT by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are in place in order to meet departmental objectives.
*Group company secretarial matters
*Management of group IT strategy and performance via Group IT Manager
You will be a qualified accountant with significant experience as a Finance Director/CFO from within a complex manufacturing/industrial environment. The organisation has operations overseas as well as in the UK so experience of multinational organisations would be a distinct advantage.
