SURFACE COATING INSPECTOR

Overview
Our client have an immediate requirement to appoint a number of Surface Coating Inspectors who will be employed on a very high profile project / assignment based in Rosyth Scotland.
The roles are offered on an initial 12 month rolling contract, but it is anticipated that these roles may result in permanent positions.
This position will include six weeks of intensive training where you will be trained on all aspects of the job and put through a variety of courses including IOSH and Confined Spaces.

Role
Surface Coating Inspectors whose responsibilities will include;
 Take surface roughness readings using specialist equipment
 Responsible for effective logging / recording of all required data
 Work alongside ACA Quality teams
 Take responsibility for themselves and other team members in a highly regulated environment
 Adhere to strict and specific operational guidelines / instruction
 Multi-task in support of other team members as and when required

Experience Required
No specific industry experience and or knowledge and experience surface coating inspection is required as six weeks intensive training will be provided;
Education / qualification in the form of a formal apprenticeship is preferred but not essential
Good / neat hand writing
High level security clearance is required for this role and therefore applications are welcomed only from candidates with no criminal record
Must have a mature responsible attitude; The ability to understand the importance of their actions
Flexible with working away from home and long working hours

Remuneration
£18.6 per hour
£45 per week subsistence allowance
All travel and accommodation costs to be met by the company
