Manufacturing / Production Supervisor / Team Leader

We are looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to work for a large manufacturing organisation based in South Yorkshire.

THE ROLE:
Reporting to a Shift Leader, you will lead a small team of people and be responsible for ensuring that all production activity is effectively monitored and that housekeeping standards are maintained to a high standard.

You will also ensure that standard processes are followed and take responsibility for quality requirements on your designated line, and will be required to undertake line set up and variant change over and simple maintenance tasks and ensure overall equipment effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should preferably have NVQ level II in Assembly Operations, and it is desirable for candidates to have experience of working within a high volume, high quality environment, along with relevant organisational and technical skills gained in a similar position.

You must possess strong communication skills and have the ability to observe and work to delivery deadlines and achieve the production plan.

People management skills are critical in this role combined with energy, enthusiasm and initiative.

THE PACKAGE:
You will be paid a basic salary of �25,000 plus shift allowance and outstanding benefits..

THE HOURS:
You will work a shift pattern (including days, afternoons and nights).
