Junior Support Consultant with Accounting Software and / or AAT

This is a really good opportunity for a Junior Application Support Consultant with accounting software experience or knowledge of accounting and / or an AAT qualification to join this long established business, ERP and accounting Software reseller, based near Brackley on the Oxfordshire / Buckinghamshire / Northamptonshire borders. Starting salary to £30,000 plus bonus and company benefits.

They are software resellers for one of the top branded mid- ranged accounting software solutions aimed at SME’s. They are looking for someone who has some experience of supporting application software and has either worked or supported accounting software, or has a previous background in accounts or an AAT qualification. Some experience of software support is essential, together with a good telephone manner, excellent problem solving skills and a passion for providing top notch customer service.

This role will involve providing telephone, email and remote support to their clients who use their accounting software products, logging queries and following up issues as well as report writing. This is a small company with a tight knit team who work hard and have fun at the same time.

In time you will be able to move into a client facing, implementation, consulting or training role.

Required skills: some software support experience, friendly personality, clear telephone voice and a very good appreciation of bookkeeping and accounting issues with either an AAT qualification or previous expereince of supporting a similar accounting software product such as Sage 200, Pegasus Opera, Coda, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Access Dimensions, Iris Exchequer, SunSystems, SAP Business One, NetSuite, DMS or similar.
