Bids & New Business Manager

A leading national law firm and one of the real legal heavyweights in the Midlands is looking for a strong bids specialist to join their central team. The role will not only work on incoming proposals, it will also help the influence the ways that the firm as a whole approach this key area.

Reporting directly to a highly regarded Head of Client Development, and working closely with key partners, you will be a key point of contact for all strategic bids. You will have full involvement in the bids process from initial enquiry through to coaching and advising internal clients on the presentations and post bid analysis. The firm is extremely tight knit and will also work closely with other BD managers ensuring that all cross-selling objectives are effectively carried out and that best-practice is followed throughout the firm.

You will need to have a good academic background and the ability to deal with very high profile senior internal clients. For this reason previous experience in a professional services firm is essential with a focus on BD and bids in particular.
