CAD Technician

Our client is a leading and well established provider of Managed services to the Telecoms sector throughout the UK. Offering the full range of services from Site Acquisition through full build of sites and on into optimisation and maintenance programmes for all major network operators.

As a result of numerous projects recently won, our client is looking to recruit a CAD Technician to support the Design Teams and ensure drawings are produced in a timely, accurate manner and are Right First Time. You will need to carry out the following:-
Creation of Planning, Detailed Design and As-built drawings to the client and its customer specifications and standards using AutoCAD.
Work with other key stakeholders including Acquisition, Planning and Construction to ensure that the most appropriate design has been produced.
Providing assistance to Lead and Design Engineers when creating design solutions
Liaising and working with other internal disciplines.
Work with and update databases and client systems.

You will be able to:-

Have knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation including Construction Design & Management Regulations
Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages including, word, excel, outlook and Autocad
Experience of Telecoms.
