Hospitality Assistant Duty Manager

We are recruiting for an Assistant Hospitality Manager to maintain the highest level of service quality throughout our client’s organisation. You will ensure customer expectations are met and where possible exceeded and provide operational support to all departments.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years plus experience within a comparable hospitality based operation. You will also be able to show knowledge of working in a 3 and 4 star hotel environment.

You will be a supportive manager that has the ability to inspire and influence a team to achieve their full potential.

Day to day duties include:

Cover the Duty Management shifts ensuring all areas and tasks relating to the role of a Duty Manager are covered.

To be fully aware of business capacity and specific requirements, assist in ensuring that resources are organised accordingly.

Support Line Management ensuring that departmental procedures and work instructions are implemented and maintained and that any changes are communicated effectively.

Assist the Reception and Housekeeping Line Managers in the maintenance of departmental quality systems

*
Monitor training & development of team members, contributing to top quality departmental training in service standards and delivery

*
Have a good working knowledge of Risk Assessments

*
Sound understanding of good Health & Safety Practices.

An advantage for this role will be to have a completed a Trainee Management Scheme within the Hospitality industry and achieved a BTEC, HND or equivalent in the Hospitality or relevant related industry.
