New Business Education Recruitment Consultant / Senior Consultant
Salary – £26,000 – £33,000(dependent of experience)
OTE – £27,200 / £43,100 (dependent on experience / title)
Location – Hilperton, Wiltshire
An Apple A Day is a team of passionate recruiters, working within the Education Sector. We all currently have family, or have ourselves worked as Teachers. Due to this we understand their role intrinsically and can provide an empathetic ear to our Teachers whilst showing expertise to the Schools we work with.
Due to this winning formula, we are again looking for a new Recruitment Consultant to join our team. All of the typical elements apply (and are noted below), but ultimately, we are looking for someone who meets our passion about Education and loves recruitment!
Passion obviously does not pay the bills, so we also have a clearly defined “Career Ladder” outlining the parameters to grow within the business. This stipulates not just your commission, but at which point you will gain an increased basic salary and job title. These are fair and achievable with the current level of requirement from our Schools. Progression has always, and will continue, to be incredibly important as we look to create a happy and thriving team and business.
A little more about the day-to-day aspects –
* Identifying new sales leads
* Achieving company KPI’s including sales targets
* Pitching services to prospective customers
* Organising bookings and the associated processes/paperwork
* Using our CRM system and ensuring it is kept up to date
* Interviewing candidates
* Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
* Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about recruitment
* Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
* Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
* Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
We are a small team, but this has massive advantages. You can make real change and real improvements without any bureaucracy. The Managing Director / Owner is always around and happy to listen or help. The theoretical ‘red tape’ does not always get in the way of decisions which make sense, for example we passed our most recent hires probation after 4 months instead of 6.
We work in a comfortable office space that is surrounded by farms and fields, giving you the space to stretch your legs when needed. If it is raining however, then we have a designated room with a state-of-the-art massage chair. Just hook up your Bluetooth, listen to some calming tunes and close your eyes!
