Fire Risk Assessor 12 month fixed term contract – Home based with extensive travel across the West Midlands region
Salary 31,000-33,000 car/ car allowance benefits

Responsibilities of the Fire Risk Assessor will include:-

Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments within sheltered housing for the elderly to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Highlighting any significant findings and action in accordance with the FRA procedure

Fire Risk Assessor required knowledge and experience:-

Sheltered housing for the elderly
Current Building Regulations
Health and Safety legislation
Fire Safety
Knowledge of a care setting and the needs of older people.
Carrying out FRAs in sheltered housing and care home environments.
Fire Safety Courses Modules A.B and D of the Fire service college (or equivalent)
HNC/HND Fire Safety
CS Todd Fire Risk Assessment
NEBOSH Fire Safety Risk Management
Graduate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers
Competent Fire Risk Assessor Life Safety Approved IFE Fire risk assessor.

Fire Risk Assessor required skills:-

Good communication skills
Knowledge of performing assessments/surveys within sheltered housing
Computer literate with experience of using hand-held computer devices
Management and organization skills
Ability to manage own workload
Full driving license with ability to travel extensively across a region
