Production Manager

Production Manager, £35-£38k + Bonus, West Yorkshire

I have just taken the spec for a an exciting new role with an Excellent Client of mine with whom I am working with exclusively.

For this role I am looking for a strong Production manager/Group Leader to work for my client based centrally in the west Yorkshire area. My client is a global organization and offer stability and excellent opportunities to progress and develop you skills and experience. They run a good Management development program and a strong focus on succession planning for talented individuals.

The Role:
To lead a departmental team that is responsible for Production, from manufacture of products to customer quality and service levels in an efficient, cost effective and safe manner.
As Group Leader you will be responsible for looking at the supply and demand plans, looking ahead and making sure the team have sufficient resources.
Your main responsibility will be OEE (Overall equipment effectiveness)
We need someone who has a strong background in being able to asses where improvements can be made and getting it done.
There is also a strong emphasis on Business and Process improvement using Lean techniques.

The Person:
– Strong Production background
– A strong understanding off OEE and proven results
– Continuous and process improvement skills
– Ideally some Project experience (My client have just had capex approval for two brand new automated Filling machines)

Salary £42,000 – £45,600
