Salary: £22.8 – £26.4 per hour
Manpower Technical is recruiting for an experienced Project Support Engineer (Electrical) on behalf of our client located in Richmond. The role is Contract, and based within the Public Sector.
They require someone to; assist and coordinate the successful implementation of electrical and mechanical works involving isolations or loss of service, investigate and make recommendations for such works that are part of upcoming projects, review methodologies proposed by contractors to enable the above to happen, coordinate with the various project stakeholders, advise on statutory requirements relating to project works, attend weekly project team meetings, have a broad understanding of construction engineering across all disciplines, support and develop good working relationships with direct-appointed contractors to optimise value for money, ensure all necessary test and commissioning certification is completed for projects, ensure the timely and successful handing of installations back into maintenance and act in a clerk of works capacity to assist with ongoing works on site.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that he or she has at least one or preferably both of a City & Guilds Electrical Installation or Test & Certification qualification – or the equivalent NVQ level in electrical engineering, proven analytical ability, with experience of data gathering to problem solve or produce solutions, excellent communication skills, excellent skills in relationship building within a team, an ability to manage his or her own workload and prioritise sensibly in a busy environment, experience of working on a historically sensitive site with heritage buildings and installations, experience of working within a live building/public space environment in a similar role and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Shifts: Full Time.
Salary: £22.8 – £26.4Hourly.
