Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
We are recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer for a leading organisation developing cutting edge electronics products and services used for industrial applications sectors such as Defence, Automotive, industrial engineering, Aerospace and telecoms.
As an Embedded Software Engineer you will join the software development team responsible for the core development of the Firmware for new digital systems. Planning, designing and issuing production level firmware for the embedded systems.
Requirements
2:1 or above Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Expert in Embedded Software Design for Microprocessors.
Fluent in C
Expertise in debugging using in-circuit emulator, logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
Experience in source control & defect tracking
Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing in the Audio Domain is desirable.
Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas the ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and able to communication to all levels and functions throughout the organisation.Work Hours: 37 Hours (Full Time): 8.15 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday with 45 minutes for lunch and 8.15 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. on Friday.
Location: Watford (Commutable from: Harrow, Watford, Slough, Hounslow, London, Greater London, West London, etc)
Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 + Bonus + Bens
