The company
Well established family owned company, a global player in the provision of raw materials to the label industry
The Role
This is a new position, reporting to the Operations Manager, working with a small team to coordinate production and arrange imports and exports and prepare performance reports.
Key Responsibilities
Planning Raw materials, Demand and Production
Arranging Imports and Exports with Freight Forwarders
Analysing on time production, finding out root cause for shortages, liaising with the production and purchasing team to prevent re-occurrences.
Preparing performance KPI
Running various reports from SAP system into MS Excel
Attending meetings and deputising for others, as necessary.
The successful Applicant
– Experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced production environment
– A minimum of a GCSE Grade B in Mathematics
– Strong analytical and mathematics skills
-Previous SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
-Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly and confidently. Training will be given
Salary & other benefits
£27,000
– The Position is Full Time & Permanent based on a 40 hour week (but this can be flexible)
