Embedded Software Test Lead

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

Offering hybrid working, this music technology brand are at the cutting edge of sound quality. They’re seeking to recruit an Embedded Software Test Lead to develop software test plans for the purpose of testing their products, resolving inconsistencies and issues without supervision.

Aside from working with one of the UK’s most exciting audio brands, your duties as Embedded Software Test Lead will include:

• Developing test plans, debugging, fault-finding and resolving inconsistencies.
• Mentoring junior engineers.
• Plan Software development, identify automated test opportunities.

If you are interested in joining this high end brand as Embedded Software Test Lead to develop cutting-edge technology you’ll need to be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience as Embedded Software engineer/Software Test Engineer.
• Proficiency using Python.
• Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc Electronics, Firmware or Embedded Software Engineering (or similar).
• An awareness of Embedded Software programming languages, architectures and tools with some hands on experience. For example: C, C++, baremetal, RTOS, Linux and DSP.
• Experience working with audio devices or consumer electronics would be ideal.
• Playing an instrument or passion for music would be very helpful but not essential.

In return the successful Embedded Software Test Lead will receive:

• £48,000 – £54,000 per annum
