Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year

Title: Service Charge Analyst

Reporting to: Account Director

Working Week: 37 hour working week Monday to Friday.

Location: Flexible (home based with maybe 1 day per month in the office)

About The Company

Our client is a Property and Facilities Management Group. Within the Technical and Real Estate Division of the Group is the UK’s leading service charge consultancy in the retail, leisure, office and industrial sectors.

This position is linked to the Bedford based team, which undertakes service charge consultancy on behalf of occupiers principally within the retail and leisure space. The client base is predominantly blue-chip, advising many of the UK’s leading retailers and leisure companies.

There are currently in excess of 20 people that work as part of the Bedford team, with plans for continued growth in revenue and expansion of service offering.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of that growth and therefore requires an ambitious and highly motivated team player, who has the individual drive and enthusiasm to succeed.

The Role

Directly involved in the administration and management of substantial service charge portfolio for at least one of our blue-chip clients.

This will include maintaining a database and developing the skills required to analyse and evaluate financial information and lease documents in order to identify issues and negotiate settlements with landlords and/or their agents.

The Person

As an experienced administrator, recent graduate or AAT qualified person keen on pursuing a career in commercial property consultancy, the successful candidate will have a:

* Keen eye for detail

* Willingness to learn

* Flexible approach and the ability to work to deadlines

* High level of numeracy

* Capability to deal with high-volume data entry

* Strong analytical and communication skills

* Good level of computer literacy (with Excel being particularly desirable).

Required education:

* Secondary education with a minimum of A* – C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

* Please note that the interview process will include a Maths, English and Excel test.
