Project Engineer (Offshore / Heavy Industry / 3D CAD)

Project Engineer – Mechanical Engineering background – offshore experience or similar – project management skills – experience of working on manufacturing projects which incorporate heavy equipment – knowledge of pumping systems – draughting experience using 3D CAD (Solid Edge or Solid Works) – based Worcester – salary £40,800 plus and pension and life assurance

We are urgently looking for a Project Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background allied to project management skills to work for a company that is a specialist designer and manufacturer of bespoke high pressure pumping equipment for the offshore oil & gas industry

Candidates for the position of Mechanical Project Engineer should have had experience of working on manufacturing projects which incorporate heavy equipment.

Technical knowledge of pumping systems and/or package-build equipment using motors and diesel engines will also be a requirement and you should be able to demonstrate draughting experience and competence using 3D CAD (Solid Edge or Solid Works).

The role will involve ensuring the timely, safe and cost effective design and implementation of projects which will include client and supplier liaison, resource planning and SDRL Management in conjunction with others

As Project engineer you would support the Engineering Project Manager and / or the Engineering Director with project planning, system design, testing and the associated documentation.
Starting salary will be dependant on your experience which must be supported by recognised academic qualifications.
