Design Engineer (Solidworks)

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

Design Engineer required for local Ipswich based company. This role is for a well-established reputable engineering manufacturing company who are expanding their team. The successful candidate will have an Engineering Degree or HND in a design related field and/or have proven experience. Role will involve producing drawings in 2D & 3D using Solidworks, completing modification of existing designs as well as bespoke solutions, creation of parts and assembly working closely with the manufacturing team Along with providing specifications for fabrication and machining. Ideal candidate will have experience in producing engineering drawings for various methods of manufacture i.e. steel & Iron castings, thick steel fabrications, steel profiles, turning, boring & milling working. This is offering a good salary package, 33 days holiday and pension.
