Salary: £72,000 – £96,000 per year

Our client, an international bank based in London, is looking for a Conduct Risk Compliance Manager to join their team in London.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the conduct risk framework of the bank 

• Periodically review the effectiveness of the conduct risk framework and report to the stakeholders.

• Assist in the articulation of conduct risk appetite and the rating levels of the risks.

• Periodically review the existing conduct risk metrics and update.

• Ensure all controls relating to conduct risk are periodically reviewed and enhancements identified.

• Ensure all related policies and procedures are periodically reviewed and appropriately updated.

• Develop, embed and periodically review the conduct incident management process.

• Sustain the understanding of conduct risk by delivery of bank-wide conduct risk training.

• Work with stakeholders to identify and deliver additional training requirements.

• Liaise and support key stakeholders to define and develop conduct risk management strategy.

• Carry out periodic conduct risk compliance monitoring and report to the stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate governance responsibilities of the firm’s operations in UK

• Manage risk, governance and foster appropriate corporate culture in the relevant areas of responsibility

• To assist in the annual review of product risk assessments and FCA Heat Map.

• Produce conduct related MI for management,RCC,Board.

Skills and knowledge:

• At least 8-10 years of solid experience of working in conduct compliance risk related areas within a bank.

• Sound knowledge of conduct risk regulations and regulatory compliance,e.g., FCA PRA Handbooks, with focus on retail banking

• Knowledge and understanding of banking and treasury products including trade finance

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team

• A self-starter motivated to be able to work in anticipation organized yet flexible manner to progress a variety of tasks simultaneously.

• Exposure to international, cross border banking, particularly in high-risk jurisdiction will be an advantage.

• Diligent, professional, conscientious and business orientated.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills on top of a resilient and flexible personality.

• A relevant qualification will also be an added advantage.
