Factory Processing Manager

My client is a leading processing facility and is highly regarded in their product range producing exceptionally high quality products for an increasingly demanding market.
Due to this expansion we are seeking high calibre candidates for the following full time permanent vacancy:

As a result of expansion they looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in the aquaculture industry and Management. You will oversee the processing operations on a daily basis and have regular contact with the harvesting teams to ensure quality is to the highest standards. Your career path should preferably demonstrate an approach embedded with best practice within a factory environment, processing management and you will be familiar to working in a highly regulated industry. Ideally, you will also have some knowledge of harvesting operations. Core strengths include confident communication skills, excellent people management skills and the ability to set and meet tight deadlines. You will be able to operate effectively both within a leadership role and be a hands on manager for your team of around 40-50 personnel.

Experience in seafood processing is preferred however, experience in other primary processing will be considered. My clients needs someone who is excellent at motivating staff and someone who would pick up the production/processing really quickly. The ability to hit the ground running from day 1 and make an impact immediately and previous management experience is vital

This role will require relocation, well almost guaranteed which will be assisted.
