Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £45,600 – £46,800 per year

Our client is a prominent manufacturer in the Deeside area. They are currently looking to appoint a Manufacturing Engineer to support the mass production lines in order to solve chronic and complex problems. Ideally you should have experience of working in a high volume manufacturing environment along with broad skills in engineering.

Main duties will entail:

• Investigation and elimination of mass production process defects through root cause analysis
• Process and equipment development activities to remove waste and improve efficiency and quality, using innovative methods such as AI

Activities will be a mix of daily problem solving to achieve the speedy remedy of mass production issues and longer term projects.

This is a very fast paced role with an element of challenge. You must be able to plan, analyse, monitor and make clear quality judgements.

Our client is looking for someone who has worked with process improvement and has excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You should ideally be familiar with working in a high-volume environment and have a drive to understand how things work.
