Role: Centre Lathe Turner / CNC Operator
Location: Manchester
Salary: £26,000 – £28,080 per yeardependent on skill set plus bonus after qualifying
period.
Shift: Mon – Thurs 08:00 -16:00 Friday 08:00 – 3.30
THE COMPANY
Well established with a forward thinking director leading the business, this
company is a small sub contract engineering machine shop. They produce small,
medium and one off precision components, and general contract work.
THE ROLE
Reporting to theGeneral Managerthe main purpose of the role is as
follows:
– Centre LatheTurning
-Preferably with good
XYZ Proturn. / Protrak Experience.
– Some Milling
experience would be an advantage.
-Opportunity to work on
3 axis CNC Lathe with full training provided.
– Batch work up to 100
– Machining in plastic,
stainless, aluminium
– Responsible for
quality checking own work

– Will have experience of manual turning
– Will have worked to
fine tolerances
– Be happy working in a small team of
machinists.
