Milton Keynes College are looking for creative and passionate Lecturers to join our busy Creative & Service Industry faculty within Art & Design.
Our Art & Design students are passionate about improving their skills and understanding the fundamental value of their course. Art & Design continues to be a popular choice with our students and therefore we are looking for inspirational lecturers to join the team and use their passion to teach our eager to learn students.
This faculty is a dynamic and successful department with a highly motivated and experienced team of teaching staff who are dedicated to supporting students to achieve outstanding outcomes, delivering a broad range of programmes. You will be responsible for delivering Art & Design across our provision of UAL courses at level 2, level 3 and ABC Foundation.
The ideal candidate should be an excellent practitioner/ lecturer who possesses the ability to successfully teach a range of disciplines and to contribute to our Art & Design students understanding of contextual studies, as well as undertake the role of personal tutor to students; this includes assessments, live commercial jobs and art exhibitions.
Location: Bletchley Campus
Hours: (2 positions available)
1 – 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
2 – 27.75 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £26,000 – £38,329per yearpro rata, per year
As a successful candidate you will have:
A teaching qualification or willing to work towards
A relevant Art & Design qualification to at least HND Level
Strong vocational experience and/or occupational competence in the subjects taught and assessed
