PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – FINAL ASSEMBLY

Hope Valley, Derbyshire

My client is a leading manufacturer based on the outskirts of Sheffield.

They have an excellent opportunity for a PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – FINAL ASSEMBLY to work within a small team in their factory in Hope Valley, Derbyshire.

THE ROLE

• Assemble a wide range of Furnaces and Ovens which consists of taking a variety of electrical and mechanical parts and sub-assemblies to produce the products.
• Wiring of panels from electrical schematics.
• Basic electrical test and inspection.

CANDIDATES

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics / drawings.
• Experience with wiring machinery.
• Ideally have experience within an industrial background.
• Electrical knowledge or previous assembly experience would be a distinct advantage.
• Site installation and accreditation to 18th Edition wiring regulations would be advantageous.
• Have a minimum of C&G or NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation.
• Candidates should be used to working in an engineering / manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of machinery operation and cutting techniques is an advantage but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate
• You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

HOURS

37.5 Hours per week

Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.45pm

Friday 8.00am – 12.30pm

With a half hour unpaid lunch break

£11.50 phr depending on experience
