THE COMPANY
My Client is a Top-10 contractor in the UK construction industry with a strong reputation for delivering high quality flagship projects.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the South East operation of the business for two site engineers to work on the delivery of an £85m new build development. This company undertakes large scale new build developments across the UK, but is specifically working on a flagship project in East London which consists of high spec mixed use spaces.

With a healthy forecast of high-value work over the coming years, this is a very secure position with a highly regarded main contractor, offering excellent career progression opportunities in the future!

THE ROLE
As a Site Engineer your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Senior Engineer with daily operations
* Carrying out all setting out duties on site using appropriate equipment
* Quality Control over setting out operations on site.
* Advising and providing technical support to the construction team on any setting out issues

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Formal qualification in relevant discipline – preferably degree, but also HND/HNC
* Must have experience working on large-scale Reinforced Concrete frame construction projects
* Experience working at main contractor level
* Excellent technical knowledge of setting out
* Excellent communication and planning skills
* Ability to co-ordinate different aspects of a project successfully
