Trade Counter Sales Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, customer focused individual with a ‘can do’ attitude to join a Trade Counter based in Leyton.

You will have superb communication skills both over the telephone, email and face to face who enjoys being part of a small team. You will have a proven track record in providing a similar customer facing role, ideally in a Trade Counter environment. You will be IT literate and ideally have some experience of using SAP, although this is not essential. Attention to detail is key in this role, as well as the ability to prioritise your workload.

Your role will be to deliver a first class service to customers by dealing with enquiries in a timely manner, providing quotations and offering advice where needed. You will be required to maintain stock levels, process orders and produce credit notes.

You will be able to demonstrate where you have previously taken ownership and resolved customer enquiries in a similar role. Your ability to build up a strong rapport with your customers will be essential in this role and you will understand the importance of following up enquiries and keeping your customers updated.

A full UK driving licence is preferred although this is not essential for this role, as you may be required to travel to other Company UK locations and to deliver orders on-site occasionally.
