Locations: Highbridge, TA9
Salary: £26,000per year + overtime rate (£15.00) after 42 hours = £21,000/annum average with potential for increase!
Hours: working Monday-Friday, no weekends! 0800-1700 (8am-5pm) Monday to Thursday & 0800-1300 (8am-1pm) on Friday’s = 40 hours/week average
Contract: Permanent, starting as soon as possible
We’re looking for Forklift Drivers to work for a steel manufacturer as a Yard Operative. Counterbalance licence required (RTITIB, ITSARR or In House accepted). Along with unloading and loading lorries, you’ll be tasked with keeping the yard tidy, and organising stock.
You’ll be liaising with the shop floor and factory managers regarding stock limits and space availability, delivery times. Carrying out regular monthly stock takes and ensuring steady work flow through the factory by providing yard items in a timely manner
Salary is dependant on skills and experience – potential to earn MORE! Opportunity for progression!
No tickets or certs required but experience would be beneficial.
Forklift Counterbalance licences required.
Heavy lifting is involved with this role.
