Job Profile

As the successful CADCAM & CNC Miller you will have the experience working for an established and growing precision machining company with an excellent reputation for producing highly precision machined parts. You will be working alongside a friendly and welcoming team of other highly skilled Machinists with a very approachable manager, offering a stable and well-structured position.

Duties

* CADCAM programming offline using Fusion 360

* Programming, setting and operating 3 – 4 axis Hurco CNC machining centres

* Creating offline programs and toolpaths

* Producing precision components to high specification

* Liaising with customers on both design advice and tooling advice

* Assisting with the pricing of sub contract jobs

* Assisting with calculating lead times and organising CNC milling work

* Train another member on staff on the machines with the view to purchasing another identical machine in the next 12 months

* Self-inspection to ensure quality

Skills and Experience

* Programming, setting, and operating a Hurco machining centres

* CADCAM offline programming using Fusion 360

* Able to work under pressure and consistently hit lead times

* Able to work in a team environment and pass on knowledge

* Supervisory experience would be an advantage

* Basic understanding of Fanuc controlled lathes would be an advantage

Hours of Work & Benefits

* 37.5hrs per week

* 08.00 – 17.00, Monday – Thursday, Friday 12.30 finish

* Overtime paid x1.5hrs
