Our Client is an Independent Creative Digital Marketing Agency with an ever expanding Portfolio of Clients and well known Brands, meaning that they are now looking for a talented Copy Writer to join their growing Creative and Development Team. The company has been established for over fifteen years, they are financially stable and can offer superb long term career progression.

This role isn’t just for a Content Writer, you will have the opportunity to be involved in lots of different types of work and exciting Marketing projects. We are looking for someone that is knowledgeable when it comes to writing SEO compliant copy and utilising Social Media but also has really strong creative offline writing skills.

Main Responsibilities
•Writing a variety of copy for client projects, websites and offline marketing literature
•Utilising SEO techniques to make sure the copy is compliant and effective
•Working on copy for the company’s in house websites and offline collateral
•Writing and producing appealing and exciting press releases
•Managing, updating and maximising the company’s internal social media portals
•Producing effective Social Media content for Clients on a wide range of subjects
•Assisting with other PR and marketing tasks

·Contribute to the development of editorial schedules

·Follow editorial schedules/calendars and meet deadlines

·Research subject information for client projects

·Sub-edit the work of colleagues

·Liaise with clients on approvals and amendments

·Organise and effect publication or syndication of relevant materials

·Monitor, evaluate and record published materials and share this information with the Head of Content and Search Manager
•Role Requirements:
•Must have a strong background in copy and creative writing
•Have versatile and professional experience of writing across different industries, brands and topics
•Must have knowledge of SEO such as keyword density, to enable effective copy to be written
•Experience of writing press releases and offline marketing collateral

·Broad experience of working with other tools e.g. content management systems, and social media platforms

·Good working knowledge of social media channels, preferably in a professional capacity
•Relevant degree or Journalism, PR qualification would also be an advantage but isn’t essential
•Marketing and PR experience would be beneficial
