Our client is a Norfolk based contractor working on high end bespoke residential works and heritage works within the North of Norfolk area. The company are passionate about the work they do and have an excellent reputation for delivering beautiful homes, refurbishments and extensions.

The company are looking for an individual that can carry out quantity surveying and estimating with the bulk of projects falling into the £100K to £500K values. You will be joining a friendly team who are ambitious and are looking to grow the company into a market leader within its market.

• Have an understanding of traditional building methods and products associated with the conservation and repair of listed building (Technical support will be provided by the senior management team)
• Manage multiple projects
• Take a lead in the calculation and preparation of all company valuations and final accounts.
• Prepare and present monthly job cost analysis data.
• Assume full control of subcontract orders, applications and assist with subcontract enquiries and management. Overall responsibility for ensuring that all subcontract/supplier orders placed are within budget.
• Preparation of costs reports for Estimates.
• Ensure that valuations and final account for each contract are formatted / presented to suit the exact requirements of the individual PQS/architect/client, in order to speed up the certification process.

KNOWLEDGE

• Ideally HNC in Construction or relevant Degree level qualification, but relevant experience and knowledge considered.
• Have a good understanding of traditional building methods and products associated with historic building repair and conservation.
• Have a good working knowledge MS Office suite.
• Be confident in dealing directly with Architects, Clients and Subcontractors Schedule:
