Having successfully recruited 2 people in the last month to their finance team, Fide is delighted to be working with West Yorkshire Police again to appoint two additional Assistant Accountants to join their team.

• 1 role sit in their Cost Management Reporting team
• 1 role to be sat in their Management Accounts & Strategy team

Whilst this is a finance role, your reach will extend to all internal stakeholders – from Police Officers and heads of department to the Chief Officer Team. You will also have interaction with Home Office and other external government organisations,

 Qualification criteria:

While an AAT qualification and/or CIMA/ACCA part qualification status would be nice to have, experience is going to be a bigger criterion. This includes working in similar roles with management accounts experience, cost accounting/reporting, budgets, forecasting as well as being comfortable in and around Excel and spreadsheets. Experience in financial analysis and business partnering for the role in Strategy Finance would be useful.
