Due to continued project wins and the ever-growing importance of CFD and energy modelling within critical system developments we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Building Physics Engineer to join a market leading engineering design consultancy in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Building Physics Engineer to progress their career working on hyperscale data centre projects throughout Europe for leading tech companies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• The Building Physics Engineer will be responsible for producing PUE models and generating outputs for engineering reports and development of designs
• Compilation and issue of building physics reports for CFD modelling, energy modelling, PUE calculations and feasibility studies across all business sectors.
• The Building Physics Engineer will be tasked with preparation of design calculations and models relating to energy & sustainability.
• Training of junior engineers in CFD, energy analysis, code compliance and sustainability.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND 

• Ideally the Building Physics Engineer will have knowledge of 6Sigma DC CFD Modelling software or equivalent (Ansys Icepack, TileFlow)
• Experience or knowledge of PUE Analysis
• Good knowledge of CAD, Revit, Navis and BIM360
• The Building Physics Engineer will have a strong understanding of IES/ DesignBuilder/3D building modelling and analysis applied to Dynamic Simulation Modelling, BREEAM and Building Control Compliance, daylighting and energy
