Site Engineer

Salary: £30,000 – £39,600 per year

PSR Solutions are working with a well-established infrastructure contractor to recruit for a full-time, permanent Site Engineer to develop and progress in their career.

The role would ideally suit a candidate with a recent civil engineering degree, or a Site Engineer with 6 months – 2 years Site based experience. The role will provide further training, mentor-ship and opportunities to gain further qualifications and progression.

Working with a multi-disciplined infrastructure contractor based in Yorkshire; you will benefit from working on an exciting mixutre of schemes ranging from utilities, road construction, complex groundworks to structures.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

• Take control of the technical aspect of the project works (dependent on experience)
• Setting out for all Construction activity on site
• Completing quality documentation
• Implementation of Quality planning and controls to ensure project compliance with the Specification and the Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability Company Policies
• Undertake setting out, QA, issuing permits.
• Checking and ensuring that the project works comply with the requirements of the contract specification and drawings etc.
• Maintain accurate and consistent records
• Maintain and develop client relationships

• Requirements & Qualifications:

  • CSCS Card
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • a strong team player
  • effective and confident communication
  • Experienced at undertaking quality checks
  • Competent user of basic Microsoft office packages
