Salary: £66,000 – £72,000 per year

Full Stack Developer – Remote (1-2 days a month onsite in Swansea)

£55,000-£60,000 + Benefits

Unify are pleased to be working with this Swansea based innovative start up who punch well above their weight. They are bringing AI to the construction industry. Using NLP and machine learning to enhance safety documentation across the project life cycle. They are a small effective team looking to grow quickly as their client list expands by the day, including some of the biggest construction projects in the UK. They are looking for someone to come on board and be part of the team building the front end web app and user authentication backend.

 The client facing aspect of their product has so far been built by an agency. They are now looking to bring this in house. It will be migrated to being hosted using Kubernetes on IBM Cloud (the reasons for which they can get in to if you’d like to know more) however they are, as much as possible, taking a cloud agnostic approach.

Skills/Experience required. 

• Must have Full Stack experience. 1 year minimum 

•  Good all round Engineers with a thirst to learn new technologies.

•  Experience with React and latest React practices (functional components and hooks).

• Typescript

•  Node, Express server + Jest unit testing.

• MySql/Postgres

• Kubernetes + Docker

• Cloud Architecture 

 Software Engineering best practices:

• Version control

• Test driven development

• Automated CI/CD

 Desirable skills:

 Knowledge of Kafka as a streaming and Queueing system
