Salary: £37,920 – £40,320 per year
Currently looking for a Head Chef or Second Chef who is ready to lead a small brigade within a Torquay based coaching Hotel.
This role will be providing breakfast and dinner for 130/140 covers daily. All evening meals are pre-ordered when the guests have their breakfasts.
It’s a slick and efficient operation, providing quality meals in a quick space of time. For instance for the evening meals guests are offered:
- hot starter
- cold starter
- juice
followed by a choice of:
- roast
- meat dish
- vegetarian meal
- fish dish
with a hot or cold pudding offered.
I’m looking for someone who has experience of banqueting/providing fast good quality food within a quality led kitchen.
One real advantage with this job is the hours, it is split shifts but you’ll be finished and ready to go home by 7.45/8pm each evening.
salary wise they are looking to pay 30 – 32K + £37,920 – £40,320in bonuses for on target GP/kitchen cleanliness and positive reviews.
The hotel has a positive atmosphere, you’ll be left to run the kitchen as you see fit and there is a full handover book to help ease you into the job.
