Health & Safety Officer/Surveyor East Grinstead with National Travel Asbestos and Fire- £30,000-£35,000 plus Company Car or Mileage Allowance
Excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Professional to join an expanding Health & Safety Consultancy is now available. The selected candidate will be working on Asbestos Surveys and Fire Risk Assessments for a range or of clients including social housing, retail and industrial.
The ideal candidate will have a variety of previous work experience as the client covers various construction health & safety, fire and asbestos assessment services. On a day to day basis you will carrying out fire risk assessments, asbestos surveys (to Type 2), health and safety checks, site visits, inspections and audits, policy development, business continuity planning and problem solving assistance. This role will include national travel and the occasional need to stay away from home. The successful candidate will need to “hit the ground running” and have the ability and initiative to work on their own, therefore strong organisation skills are a necessity.
You require a NEBOSH General Certificate NEBOSH Fire is also desired, and Asbestos P402 Certificates. If you have a background in Asbestos and would like to cross over into Health & Safety training can also be given. You will also need a full UK driving licence.
