Associate Tutor in NEBOSH / Health and Safety
Based across all college sites – Lackham, Chippenham, Salisbury, Trowbridge
Full Time – 37 hours per week
Fixed Term Contract – until 31st August 2016

Our client is the main provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and is building a reputation for quality provision, innovation and student care.
They are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Associate Tutor in NEBOSH / Health and Safety to join their Lackham Campus. Within this role you will be responsible for providing teaching and learning in any environment as required for course levels 3 – 6, preparing schemes for work, lesson and assessment plans, creating and updating learning materials to meet NEBOSH standards, IV or IQA and attending and running standardisation meetings and attending EV / EQA visits. You will also participate in the interviewing, initial assessment by phone / email / in person, enrolment and induction os students and providing academic and vocational support to individual students, referring them to other agencies where appropriate.
The successful candidate will hold a full teaching qualification (ie – Diploma in Education and training) or be willing to undertake this and will have substantial experience in the health and safety sector. With an enthusiastic and engaging approach you will have the ability to motivate students and support them to achieve their potential and you will have an awareness of working with tutor groups including pastoral development.
The closing date for this role is midday Friday 18th September.
Interviews will be held Wednesday 30th September.
