Trainee Manufacturing Technicians

Our client is an innovative and dynamic organisation that are currently looking to expand their manufacturing team within their large Livingston based facility. They have 2 opportunities for Trainee Technicians to join their team immediately.

With this being a trainee role, it is a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver who has a keen interest in this field or for someone who has a recent qualification within engineering however this is NOT an essential criteria to the success of the role.

Successful applicants will be enrolled onto their highly rewarding 4 year training program. You will be expected to participate in internal and external training courses and attend college on a day release basis to attain either an HNC or HND qualification if you don’t already have this.

The ideal candidate will be a key player in a small team, have relevant PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), be organised and have the ability to undertake both administrative and technical tasks assigned. Some customer interaction will be required so must have good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills which will be assessed at interview.
