Do you excel within travel sales? Do you have excellent worldwide travel knowledge? An exciting opportunity to join a leading cutting edge on-line travel company based in West Sussex as a Travel Consultant
This dynamic company is part of a large travel consortium and is able to offer its clients the best prices on packages including short haul and long haul destinations.
Your role as a Travel Consultant is to answer incoming calls from trade and direct customers, respond to holiday quotations by phone and email offering excellent customer service.
The role is for sales driven and motivated candidates who are looking to earn commission whilst working towards set targets in a busy sales environment.
TRAVEL CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Answer inbound calls from trade and direct customers.
-Book short and long-haul holidays Worldwide.
-Source the best deals and offers for customers.
-Upsell optional extras gaining mores sales commission.
-Offer excellent customer service.
TRAVEL CONSULTANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-Must have experience working in the travel industry from a retail travel or tour operator.
-Proven experience in sales working towards targets
-Experience of View data an advantage.
-Good knowledge of worldwide destinations.
-Ability to reach and exceed set targets
-Excellent English and hardworking
-Reliable to work on a shift pattern
THE PACKAGE:
The Travel Consultant can expect a basic salary plus commission with an OTE of £30,000working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis including some weekend work.
