CNC Sliding Head Machinist
West Byfleet – Surrey £27,000 – £32,000

Job Profile
As the successful CNC Sliding Head Machinist, you will experience working in a modern, state of the art facility and be working on a variety of interesting projects. The team of machinists are highly skilled and work closely together to achieve production targets.
Duties
* Editing, Setting and Operating CNC STAR Sliding Heads machines
* Producing components of small batch sizes from one offs up to 200
* Working to engineering drawings and specifications
* Work to tight deadlines and schedules
* Strict quality control to AS9100 standards
Skills and Experience
* A minimum of 4 years CNC Turning or Sliding Head Editing, Setting, Operating
* Experience of STAR sliding head machines would be an advantage
* Ability read engineering drawings
* Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
Hours & Benefits
* 40 hours per week
* 08.00 – 17.00 Monday – Friday
* Lots of overtime available
* 20 days holiday – plus bank holidays
* On-site parking
