Salary: £60,000 – £180,000 per year
Data Scientist Innovative Fintech
Senior Data Scientist is wanted to join an innovative VC backed fintech firm operating in the peer-to-peer lending space. As a data scientist you will be working in a quantitative manor using technology to formulate hypotheses, test using statistics with the aim of providing significant insights ensuring this fintech remains ahead of the curve in the competitive landscape. To perform in this data scientist role you will be expected to use the latest technologies in analytics and big data.
Skills required:
* Degree in either Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Applied Mathematics or similar
* PhD in a quantitative discipline or 2 years+ commercial experience in data science, business intelligence or analytics
* Python
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark
* Understanding of deep-learning models and/or machine learning
* Strong statistical knowledge
