SUMMARY:

As a Business Analyst you will be involved with several large scale projects. This is a vital role within the organisation and you will act as the lynchpin between the business and the development teams. You will be responsible for understanding key applications and developing their efficiency and benefits they bring to the business.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
• Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Strong documentation skills for both technical and non technical audiences to a highly detailed level.
• Exceptionally strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and command respect across organisation and the ability to argue the case with senior IT Management.
• Strong Business analysis and/or product analysis skills: experience in software development and/or packaged implementation environment: experience with large Internet systems: client facing web user interaction design and usability: documenting functional requirements to massive systems to a detailed level essential: UAT testing and defect management experience.
• Strong analysis skills to a recognised method. Strong experience of AGILE/SCRUM plus data analysis skills including creating SQL queries.
• Ideally have 5yrs+ of IT development life cycle including project management principles.
